Christmas this year was extremely busy for us! I had to work Christmas Eve, so that made it even more hectic. We had brunch with my Hubby's immediate family, then supper with his mom's family, then we headed to my parents house after that. We didn't start opening presents till 10pm on Christmas Eve. This mama was exhausted! Christmas Day we were with my mom's side for lunch and just stopped over to see my dad's parents to say hi. We don't celebrate holidays as much on his side anymore because my grandparents are both 93 and it's just too much at once for them to handle. It was nice to spend some quality time them, just us :) I don't know how many more chances I will get, so I am soaking each and every one of them up! Then we were finally off on our way back home! That's alot to cram into a couple of days. Thank goodness I had the rest of the week off because I need some relaxtion!

My mom sent home a ton of boxes of stuff from my junior high/high school days. This is a medal case she made to display all my important metals! So thankful to have these memories and to be able to pass them down to our children!
