How far along: 23 weeks

Size of Baby: Grapefruit   11.4 inches & almost 1 lb  
Gender:  Not finding out J
Weight gain: probably close to 12 these days    
Maternity clothes:  a mixture of both maternity and regular
Stretch marks: none!   Using lots of baby oil & Mustela
Belly button in or out: in, but slowly coming out!  
Sleep:  I can’t get enough. I want to stay in bed all day every day. I blame the on and off gloomy winter weather we have been having
Best moment this week:  Finally deciding on a carseat & stroller, too many choices. Also picked up my diaper bag … 50% off and I am in LOVE with it!
Worst moment this week:  none
Miss anything:  wearing regular clothes! Hopefully with spring/summer coming up, I will fill better wearing maxi dresses!  
Movement:  lots of kicks! Even the hubby felt a couple big ones the other night. It’s pure joy!
Cravings: Orange Leaf yogurt!
Symptoms: none
Queasy or sick: nothing this week…soo thankful!  
Happy or Moody: Happy J
Looking forward to: getting more things for the nursery!! Slowly but surely it will come together.

Happy Valentine's Day

Our little Valentine has become quite the mover and shaker these days! Such an odd but amazing feeling! Not so great when the baby kicks my bladder as I feel like I might pee my pants. Sadly I have heard it gets worse :( Depends here I come lol!

So hard to believe we are 22 weeks. June still seems so far away but I know it will creep up on us so fast. We still have the entire nursery to complete and by complete I mean we haven't bought one single thing yet... YIKES! We have to work on our registry as well. It's very stressful not knowing the gender and what to pick out... but looking forward to the suspense of delivery day and finding out if we will have a daughter or a son :) :) Makes this mama's heart so full already!

Cravings: sweets…sweets….sweets !!! So sad I am missing out on Valentine’s candy and Girl Scout Cookies

21 weeks

Man oh man, I can not wait to get rid of these awful tan walls!

Gender:  Not finding out J
Weight gain: 10 lbs
Maternity clothes:  a mixture of both maternity and regular
Stretch marks: none!  Bought another batch of Mustela  
Belly button in or out: in
Sleep:  been great – thank goodness !
Best moment this week:  feeling the baby kick & move more and more!  
Worst moment this week:  My hubby being on a vacation without me. I originally had a ticket booked, but my stupid anxiety was in full effect and I just didn’t think it was worth it. Especially when I couldn’t 100% enjoy the trip. Lets just say it was a long 4 days while he was gone!   
Miss anything:  cocktails!
Movement:  feeling lots of flutters  & some kicks/punches every once and a while
Cravings: still anything sweet!
Symptoms: none
Queasy or sick: nothing this week! Counting my blessings each day and twice on Sundays J
Happy or Moody: emotional still
Looking forward to: Warmer weather and starting the nursery

1/2 way there !!!

Oh my goodness, it's hard to believe we are 1/2 way through our 1st pregnancy! Time really does fly by. I am so thankful for a smooth first 1/2, hoping the 2nd half goes just as good! Considering how much more my body will change in the next 20 weeks, I am sure there will be times of discomfort! The joys of being a mom and bringing another human into this world. I feel so lucky :)

 

How far along: 20 weeks … yay! ½ way there !

Size of Baby: Banana   6.5 inches & 12 ounces according to our ultrasound J

Weight gain: only 10!!! Wooo hoo! Even tho I feel like I have gained way more.

Sleep:  much better, thank goodness!
Best moment this week:  see our sweet baby on the ultrasound. Creating life is such an amazing thing!  
Worst moment this week:  Still emotional and overly sensitive… my poor husband!  
Miss anything:  cocktails!
Movement:  feeling lots of flutters
Cravings: still anything sweet! Candy, kid cereal, chocolate milk, fruit…. Can’t get enough!
