About Me

Wife - stepmother - daughter - sister  - best friend - in law -HR professional -

I struggle with anxiety and emetophobia (fear of vomit) Very strange I know, definitely more on that subject in my blog. I tend to always live life with my glass half empty.  With my half empty glass in my hand, I tend to be as honest, truthful and raw as possible. I have a huge passion for children with special needs, but I have yet to figure out just how to fullfil that passion.

Randomness:
 - I have one sister, she is 4 years younger than me. We grew up in a small town of 3,500 people and our parents still live there. We love the city tho!
 - I was raised Catholic, I don't 100% participate to this day, but I am finding my way to being the best Christian I can. (With the continuous help of my Husband)
 - I love all types of music, but Rap, Country & Christian are my favorite.
 - Since I was a little girl, the only thing I wanted to be in life was a wife & mom -- I'm 1/2 way there!
 - I love LOVE wine... red wine... tastes so good when it hits your lips :)
 - I have 2 very special little kids in my life, Shea & Colton. I have babysat them for about 7 years. They mean the absolute world to me.
 - I wish I was more creative ... I suck at it
 - I love to bake, but my husband refuses to let us have sweet treats in our house, he can't fight the temptation to eat them all up!
 - On Saturdays you can find me lounging on my couch watching endless hours of pointless TV, I'm lazy on the weekends, no denying that here.

I met my husband (Rob) Spring of 2011. They really are right when they say you will find your true love when you are least expecting it!
We got engaged in January of 2012 in Florda on the beach at sunset -- it was PERFECT !

We were married 9.15.12 -- one of the best days of my life!

We bought a house in October of this year and are slowly but surely making it our own.

My step-son (Blake) recently graduated High School and I'm very blessed to have been a part of his life the past 2.5 years. He has taught me alot about parenting... both the good and the bad :)

We hope to someday have a family of our own, but until then, we are soaking up all our time together! Enjoying random date nights, Sunday Fundays at the pool, traveling, late night outs ... all to be well documented for you all on my blog!

While my glass is half empty today, I hope through all the great things I have so far and all the great things to come, my glass will so be over flowing ... preferably with wine :)

xoxo
A
